Introducing: My FENCE!

The day this girl has been dreaming of all her life has finally come.  I’m excited, and a little scared.  Am I doing the right thing?  Did I make the right choice?  Is it too late to back out?  Sometimes it’s just a leap of faith.

TADA!  I now am the proud owner of a new fenced-in backyard!!!  I’ll need to put up some water seal (according to my neighbor; will double-check just to be sure since I’m clueless), but otherwise it’s done!

I love it.  The little black plastic caps on the top of the posts (I may swap ’em with copper ones, but I’m not sure.  Kinda digging the black.)  The arched door (I’d asked for a flat-top door, but the change didn’t get to the fellas.  I don’t mind it though.  Character and all that.)  And most importantly, I can drag a lot of the plants I’ve had on the deck into the yard.  *shivers with delight*  My yard.  Happy, happy sigh.

The guys said that my deck is pretty much toast — after the cross-beam got banged & started to droop thanks to some *#$&^$ using my open yard as a turn about I figured as much — but I’ll worry about that tomorrow.  Fiddle-dee-dee.

Fine.  So I’m already lusting after a composite deck.  Smaller than what I have now by a foot or two, but beyond that I haven’t a clue….

Sorry.  Fence.  The two guys took about 4 hours to put it up, and it looks goooooood.  Don’t take my word for it, check it out…

(What?  My dad was the epitome of Japanese camera-addicted camera addicts.  I am my father’s little girl.)
